In a 1982 Accounting Career Fair in a stained and run-down hotel in Luton, not far from the motorway,  there was only interesting presenter (out of six!). She recommended working in industry, rather than in practice, and moving between industries every four years or so.

So, that’s what I’ve tried to do, and loved the variety and the international cultures, the latter definitely being a big influence in my writing.
